The children have had yet another busy week of learning. They have enjoyed creating their own tally charts and pictograms by counting the amount of skittles in a packet and grouping them by colours in maths.
The children have also had lots of fun reading about Queen Victoria’s Knickers in English and learning about how we can use suffixes to describe which knickers Queen Victoria would like the most! It bought lots of fun and laughter to our writing.
Please continue to practice spellings with your children and encourage them to read a small amount everyday.
Here is the weekly RE newsletter which you can share with your children.
Just a reminder 2A have their music concert on Monday 3rd April at 11am in Elephant class. All families are welcome to come and watch the children perform the songs they have been learning over this half term in music.
Have a lovely weekend.
From the year 2 team.
