Forest School fun!
Today we spent the day outdoors regardless of the British weather and enjoyed a wonderful nature-themed day. The children were fully engaged in a range of activities including making nature bracelets, planting sunflowers, and creating beautiful pictures using flowers and natural materials. They showed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and creativity throughout the day, exploring the outdoor environment with excitement. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to connect with nature, work collaboratively, and develop their understanding of the world around them. Well done everyone!

Dinosaurs!
This week in YR, we have been learning all about dinosaurs! The children have loved exploring different types of dinosaurs, talking about their features, and taking part in lots of dinosaur-themed activities throughout the classroom.
Today, the children explored making musical patterns using a range of instruments. They enjoyed experimenting with sounds, creating rhythms, and working together to repeat simple musical patterns. It was wonderful to see their creativity and listening skills developing through music. We also had a special visit from the Music Man, who led an exciting music session for the children. The children joined in enthusiastically with singing, rhythm games, and instrument activities, and had lots of fun making music together. What a fantastic end to a busy week of learning!

The children have shown such care and enthusiasm, eagerly watching the chicks grow and settle into their new environment. It has been a wonderful hands-on learning experience, sparking lots of thoughtful questions and conversations. We can’t wait to watch them grow!
