What a lovely last week we have had before half term. The children have been very busy this week and most certainly need a rest over the half term break!
This week in literacy the children have been completing lots of activities based around the book ‘Pumpkin Soup’. They looked at a range of different pumpkins and sequenced the story, using the sounds learnt to write some words too. They have also been making ‘pumpkin potions’ and using their senses to smell, touch and see what’s in the inside of them. In maths the children have completed some fantastic learning in discovery based on the numbers 2 and 3.
