This week the children have loved working together in teams to design and make their own rockets. It has been wonderful to see them sharing ideas, supporting one another, and using their creativity as they built their fantastic creations.

The children have also been completely immersed in the story Whatever Next! and have enjoyed bringing the story to life through imaginative play. They pretended to travel to the moon, had picnics together with their friends on the “moon”, and acted out parts of the story during their play.

Alongside this, the children explored a variety of exciting sensory activities linked to space, including investigating moon sand. It has been a fantastic week full of creativity, teamwork, and imaginative learning as the children explored what it might be like to visit the moon!
