This term we are very lucky to have Mr Downs for Hampshire music service come in every Monday to teach the pupils to play the doods!

This week pupils explored the doods and the sounds they could make. They looked at notations in music and tried to make single beat sounds.

Hopefully the pupils will have the chance to perform to the parents at the end of the term with composed music!

Welcome year 5, we hope you have had a good first few weeks back. We’ve got straight back into our learning, studying mental jottings in maths, making substances in science and Dulce et Decorum Est in English.

We also have welcomed parents last week with our yearly welcome meetings. Please see attached in case you were unable to attend 🙂
