This week the children have been finding the weight of two objects. They have used blocks to find the weight. The children have also found the difference between the weight of two objects.
They have also learnt off by heart a poem and put actions to it. They then performed it to Year 2.

The children enjoyed wearing red, white and blue today and having a picnic on the field to celebrate. We had a one minutes silence to mark the celebration. They also enjoyed dancing and singing from SD Studios and the school choir. Proud of some of our year one children who took part.

The children enjoyed exploring with the money this week. They used the money to count out amounts to buy things from our pretend shop.

In PE we have been practising our ball skills.
