Hello to all our children, parents, carers and grandparents,

In Year 1 this week, we have all been thinking about peace in our world.  The children have created poppies and prayers that reflect their respect for the people who have fought to protect us.

Their thoughts and reflections have been truly amazing.

We have also had our second Cinderella workshop and our art work is now complete and ready to be displayed in Hilliers Gardens, Romsey.  We are hoping to visit Hilliers in December so the children can see their fabulous work.

The children’s home learning reflects our respect for honouring the fallen soldiers as they design and create monuments.  They also need to continue to practise their letters and sounds and to use them in their writing.

Next week is Anti-Bullying week and once again we will be developing our understanding of encountering differences with respect.
