Congratulations to over 20 St Peter’s pupils who took part in the Great South Run Junior on Saturday 17 October. The pupils are all members of Mr Land’s running club and have spent seven weeks doing two lunchtime training sessions a week in the run up to the event. Many hundreds of teens and children took part in the curtain raiser event in Southsea, where a girls then a boys race took place in glorious sunshine and crisp autumn air. Families and friend cheered on the pupils, along with many staff who turned out to show their support for the girls and boys, and we even had a banner to wave!

Our St Peter’s Pace Makers did us proud, and enormous thanks go to Mr Land, Miss Sheppard, parents and carers and to staff who supported at the event. Well done to all of our young runners.
