We are coming to the end of what feels like a very long, but enjoyable, half term.

Homework:

Maths:
Over Christmas, several activities for MyMaths and Abacus will be set. These will relate to the learning we have done in class over the whole half term.

Reading:
Bug Club Challenge! Information was sent home last week around this. Children will be set 10 books to read and if they manage to read them all and answer all comprehension questions, there will be prizes up for grabs!

Spellings:
No spellings set for over Christmas.

Another busy week in Year 5!
We have been doing lots of work on converting different units of measure in Maths and have been continuing writing about The Piano in English.

-My Maths Homework set-Work on converting measures involving length.
-Practise times tables sheets

Spellings:
Practise sheets sent home for ably and ibly.

Reading:
Continue using Bug Club and reading of appropriate level book taken from school.
