These past few weeks we have been exploring ‘howlers’ from Harry Potter. Extremely angry letters sent to people to reprimand them for their behaviour.

We specifically looked at Mrs Weasley telling off Harry, Hermione and Ron.

We are so impressed with the language the children used, such as: scolded, incantations, incensed, outraged.

Below are some of our finished ‘howlers’, we can’t wait to show off Year Fours amazing learning and have them on display.

We have had the most wonderful start to Year Four! We are so proud of how everyone has settled in to Year Four and started working so hard on their learning.

We have been loving our new English topic all about Harry Potter. We are currently writing our ‘howlers’ and will be sharing these with each other at the end of next week.

Our current topic is based on our geography learning- Portsmouth as a gateway to the world.

Reminder- Koalas class trip to Portsmouth on the train is Monday 5th October and Kangaroos is Thursday 8th. Please ensure all permission slips for the trip are returned as soon as possible. Thank you!
