How are you feeling today: happy; excited; calm; confused?
We all have lots of feelings every day. Whatever you feel today, it’s okay, even if it’s not a nice feeling. Experiencing emotions like sadness, worry or anger can help us learn about ourselves and other people. Feelings come and go like clouds in the sky. Think about all the feelings you have had today and imagine they are animals; draw a picture of yourself as that animal. Look at the animal photos below to give you some ideas! In today’s lesson, we are going to be thinking about different emotions and how they make us feel and behave. We will learn some calming breaths to help us during times of heightened emotion. The key areas that this lesson links to are personal, social and emotional development and expressive arts and design.
