Perfect Pumpkins – Reception’s Autumn Artwork! 🍂
Our wonderful Reception children have been getting creative with pumpkins, inspired by the delightful story Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper.
The children enjoyed looking closely at real pumpkins, noticing their different shapes, colours and textures. Using oil pastels and crayons, they created their own observational drawings, carefully adding lines, patterns and beautiful autumnal colours.
This activity helped our youngest artists develop their observational drawing skills, explore different art materials and build confidence in their creativity.
We are so proud of their fantastic pumpkin masterpieces!

Autumn Trees – Reception’s Colourful Creations!
Our talented Reception children have been exploring the beautiful colours of autumn through painting!
Using cotton buds dipped in paint, the children carefully created their own autumn trees, adding colourful leaves in shades of red, orange, yellow and brown. They enjoyed experimenting with a new painting technique, developing their fine motor skills and learning how small dots of colour can create wonderful effects.
We are so proud of our youngest artists and their fabulous autumn creations!
