Summer Reading Challenge 2024

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is called ‘Marvellous Makers’ and will be arriving online at www.summerreadingchallenge.org.uk and in your local library from Saturday 13th July 2024.  You can sign up for free in your local library or online, to receive your ‘Marvellous Makers’ collector folder.  The challenge is to read six books over the summer holiday and collect stickers and other rewards for each book you read.  When completed, you will be awarded an eco-friendly sustainable medal and a certificate.

St Peters will also be giving a reward to every child that completes the Summer Reading Challenge.  All you need to do is bring in your certificate when we return to school in September and show it to Mrs Porter in the library, to receive a small prize.

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to keep reading during the summer holidays, ensuring they are ready for a great start to the new term in the autumn. So please encourage your child to take on the challenge and maybe you could aim to read six books too!
