Will you be taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend?

In recognition of the Big Garden Birdwatch, taking place in a garden near you, this weekend, the children have all listened to a story during their class library session, where the main character is a bird.

This may have been the traditional story of The Ugly Duckling, hiding in the bulrushes all through the winter, until finally discovering that he has become a beautiful swan. They may have heard the story of Fabulous Fifi, the Flamenco Flamingo, or followed the trail of The Blue-Footed Booby, hunting for the thief who stole all of the delicious cakes!
