The Rio Carnival came to school today as Year 6 and some of their families created Carnival Masks and Rainmakers.  We learnt about the history of the Rio Carnival in Brazil  and compared it to the Notting Hill Carnival in the UK before creating our own masterpieces.  Listening to Samba music while we worked really created a festival atmosphere.

The children will be ‘showing off’ their creations during our ‘Festival of the World Parade’ on 21st June.
