Year 2 had a wonderful hook to their new learning for their topic

‘One Small Step’.

All the children got into their pyjamas and gathered together to watch Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. We all got into role and imagined we had gone back in time to 1969 and had taken a day off school to get together and watch this incredible experience.

The children were very excited counting down to blast off and watched in anticipation as the rocket then landed on the moon and Neil Armstrong took his first step.
