Art Gallery Week Beginning 09/06/20

Wow! Just look at these terrific t-shirts! Aurora (Year 4)  and Raffaella (Year 1) have used fabric dye pastels to create an Hawaiian design on t-shirts. The sisters  really enjoyed making these and I think they are real ‘works of art’! Bravo girls and thanks for sharing!

Phoebe (Year 3) has done a stunning job making this magnificent mansion! I think Phoebe could definitely have  a career as an architect or interior designer. Well done Phoebe and thank you for sharing this with us!

Wow! Just have a look at this totally adorable fairy that Eva (Year 2) has carefully made out of crepe paper and pipe cleaners.  I think it looks absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for sharing this with us Eva!

Goodness me!  Look at this amazing Lava Lamp that Cian has made for his STEM task this week  He made it by  using some oil & water, then placing a few drops off food colouring into it. Finally he  placed a Alkaline-Seltzer tablet into the glass. The end result looks spectacular.  Thanks for  sharing this with us Cian.

Wow! Just take a look at these incredible insects that Christina (Year R) has created.  These insects have taken Christina a long time to make them. First she carefully moulded them into shape and once they had hardened she carefully coloured her insects in.  I know they took Christina a long time, but the effort was well worth it because they are totally amazing! The insects are now dry and ready to go on her shelf at her room… I bet they will look awesome in there.  Well done Christina and thank you so much for sharing them with us.

Look at this terrific party blower that Humphrey (Year 1) has made for his art project this week.  I wonder if he can play any tunes with it, or if he can use it to wake up his family first thing in the morning!  Thanks for sharing this with us Humphrey.

The children from Starfish class listened to a story all about feelings.  They then drew an animal linked to how they felt. Christina drew a parrot because she loves colours and adventure and Noah drew a giraffe because he was feeling tall!

How are you feeling?
