Eva (Year 2) looks very proud of the paper flowers that she has created and I can see why…they are absolutely stunning! It is clear that Eva has put a great deal of time and effort into making these and all her hard work has paid off because they are amazing.  Thank you for sharing these with us Eva!

Goodness me Catherine (Year 1) and Harvey (Year 5) have been very busy.  They have been doing a science investigation using spaghetti and marshmallows and created this terrific tower.  Then Harvey went on to make this fantastic pencil pot, while Catherine has made this magnificent unicorn.  Brilliant work Harvey and Catherine – thanks for sharing!

Wow!  Look at all these fabulous items that Phoebe(Year 3) has made. She has clearly taken her time to make all these tiny things, as they are very fiddly. I think the cars are fantastic as are the table and chairs and even the tiny frying pan. Brilliant work Phoebe and thanks for sharing!

This very special “Thank you” picture was created by Louis (Year 4), as part of a photo collage he compiled with his football team for the NHS and key workers. Not only does it look stunning, but the message is important too. Thanks for sharing this Louis!

Henry (Year 3) has been explore the technique of pointillism, which is where a picture is formed using tiny dots.  He has then gone on to draw this Lego person using the technique…and I think it looks awesome!  Bravo Henry!

This wonderful pair of cards have been created by Islwyn (Year 6) and Mostyn (Year 3) to celebrated their nanny’s 70th birthday.  It looks like she will be celebrating with a lovely cup of tea…and hopefully some cake!  Well done boys and ‘Happy Birthday Nanny’!

This is a superb painting of the Titanic that Jay (Year 2) has painted. He has also included dates and a timeline of events.  Very well done Jay!

Wow! Calin has been busy over the past couple of weeks. Here he has drawn his Palm Sunday and Good Friday picture and I have to say they look magnificent.  I particularly think his Good Friday picture is very atmospheric.  Well done Calin!

Calin didn’t stop there….he went on to draw these amazing New Life pictures and I have to say that they are absolutely fantastic.  I can really see an improvement in his drawing skills.  Thank you so much for sharing these terrific pictures with us Calin!

Simply stunning!  This is another sensational piece of craft work made by Hanna (Year 5.) Hanna’s Mum is very talented at the technique of paper quilling and she has been teaching Hanna the skill too.  They have worked very well together on this  superb Easter creation and it is so skillfully done that it is clear that this mother and daughter are a winning combination.  Breathtakingly beautiful work  Hanna…and your mum.  Thank you for sharing.  P.S.  When you are back in school I hope you will teach me how to do this!

Goodness me!  Hanna has been busy again, this time drawing and colouring her favourite Pokemon characters.  I thinks she has a good eye for drawing as these look superb!  Great work Hanna – thanks for sharing!

Wow!  Look at this pair of adorable piggies that have been painted by Kiean (Year R), using his feet! Not only are  they super cute but the message reads ‘These little piggies stayed home.’  What an important message for us all to remember – well done Kiean!

My goodness look at this wonderful puppy created by Max (Year 1)  His mummy bought these puppy crystal art sets and when they arrived they were so small but Max was determined  to have a go. He took his time and carefully selected the right colour crystal and put it on the correct number on the puppy. He has done  such an amazing job as it is  so small and very tricky. I am so impressed that Max took the time to complete this as the end result is brilliant. Congratulations Max and thanks for sharing!

This Easter card by Hana is simply breath-taking… I LOVE it…it’s a true work of art! She has used her amazing drawing skills to great effect and the overall look of the card is just perfect…with a very uplifting message.  Brilliant work Hana – thank you!

Wow! Look at these fantastic pictures,  all created by Amelia (Year 1) The first is Amelia’s interpretation of the emotion of love and it looks bright and cheerful. Then she has drawn this brilliant multi-coloured rainbow snail and finally a  self portrait, which was also part of her Year 1 home learning.  What a trio of fabulous drawings Amelia.  Thank you for sharing!

Vincent (Year 3)has been busy creating his ‘Under the Sea’ art work. He has made  ‘fishy’ bunting and this absolutely stunning chalk picture, with himself taking centre place!  Fab work Vincent and thanks for sharing!

These sharks are completely awesome – what a brilliant idea! Josh (Year 6) and Emelia (Year 4) have cleverly made and decorated them and have even shown them to their pet newts.  Great work and thanks for sharing!

Goodness me the Marples brothers have been busy again! This creation for the under the sea topic is just sensational. Kian Year 6) did the puffer fish using forks, Conor (Year 4) made the octopus and the turtle on the left hand side and Dillon (Year 1) made Nemo and was impressed with Conor’s turtle that he made one himself. It is evident that they are making the most of the paper plates in their home, but at least they are being put to a very good use.  Well done boys and thanks for sharing!

Goodness me Maisie has been really busy this week!  Just look at this huge and very  impressive ‘Under the Sea’ picture that she has created.  Maisie just couldn’t decide which sea creature to colour, so decided to do them all! However, while it is true that Maisie did do most of this fabulous picture she did have a little help from her younger sister Megan.  I think we can all agree that the sisters have done a fantastic job….well done girls!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This astounding aquarium has been made by Bailey (Year R) and his mummy. They have cleverly used all recycled materials from around the house.  Bailey even  drew the  pictures and did the writing all by himself.  They even went one step further and found a battery light to put in it. Bailey and his mummy  had lots of fun making this, which just fills me with joy to hear this. I know they spent a lot of time and effort creating this , but it really was well worth it because the end result is a true MASTERPIECE!  Very well done Bailey…and mummy!

This really cool computer picture has been designed by Kieran (Year 6).  As you can see, the scary shark has come to the surface and is terrifying the ‘flying fish’. Great computer skills Kieran – well done!

Look at this adorable pair octopuses that have been created by Ethan (Year R) and his younger brother Finn.  They are so cute and I love the expressions on their faces.  Great work boys and thanks for sharing!

Just take a look at this spectacular 3D ‘Under the Sea’ picture that Lola (Year 3) has created.  It is clearly evident that she has taken a great deal of time to make sure every aspect of this picture is perfect and I’m so glad she did because the end result is a real work of art!  Thank you so much for sharing this with us Lola!

This stunning ‘sea pony with sparkles’ has been created by Evie (Year 1). I just love her  imagination  and the creativity she has shown while making this mythical creature and I definitely think that the sparkles add the perfect finishing touch. Look at this amazing octopus and dragon that has been carefully made by Phoebe (Year 3).  Both look terrific Phoebe – well done!

Wow! This is “David the Octopus” which has been made out of  air drying clay and I think he looks terrific.  Luke (Year 2) has shown a great deal of patience and taken his time to make  this awesome octopus and just had a little help from dad while painting him.  Thanks for sharing this with us and well done Luke….and dad!

Introducing “Narly the Narwhale” made by Faith (Year 6), using  a cardboard tube, which has then be carefully  painted. I think he looks amazing – well done Faith!

Dominkia (Year 4) has really enjoyed creating this ‘Under the Sea’ picture and I’m really pleased to hear that. It is also a sensational looking picture and as you can see she has cleverly used her hand as the outline of the fish. Fantastic work Dominka and thanks for sharing!

Who would have thought that you could make a crab  from a paper plate, but that is exactly what Denzel (Year 1) has done! He has carefully cut out the shape of the crab  and then coloured it and added the claws. Brilliant work Denzel!

 What a stunning seahorse that Louis (Year 4) has created He really enjoyed decorating using crepe paper for the body & surrounding ocean and the overall look  is very effective.  Louis found this activity very relaxing , which is so lovely to hear and how art should be! Thanks for sharing this with us Louis.

Wow!  Felicity has been busy learning the new skill of origami.  She watched some YouTube videos  and looked through an origami book and then ‘set sail’ to make her own sea themed paper crafts. Terrific work Felicity and well done for persevering while learning this new technique.

This is Ben’s deep sea jellyfish and it looks terrific. He made it by covering a toilet roll with felt and then he stuck on tentacles made from cardboard and finally he then painted it. The end result is amazing Ben – well done!

This is an awesome octopus that Daniel (Year 5) has created. He has taken his time to make the octopus look fantastic and I especially love his bulging eyes! Well done Daniel and thanks for sharing!

Wow! Natalia has been very busy with her ‘Under the Sea’ crafts.  As you can see, she has made a fabulous 3D fish using the  paper quilling technique and it looks brilliant.  She has also drawn an impressive ‘fishy’ picture.  Thank you for sharing  these with us Natalia!

I absolutely love this boat, anchor and clown fish that Alfie (Year 5) has made.  He has used Hama beads and patiently placed them all in the correct position before his mum ironed them all to join them together.  I’m sure you’ll agree that the end result is brilliant! Great work Alfie!

Goodness me!  This aquarium is absolutely amazing!  It has been carefully created bu Jasmine (Year 3) and has a selection of natural sea materials, such as pebbles and shells alongside some beautifully made fish a plants.  What a wonderful piece of work Jasmine – thanks for sharing!

I think this is a sensational seascape that has been made by Oliver (Year 4).  It is clear that he has put a great deal of time and effort into creating this, but it was well worth it because the end result is simply stunning!  Amazing work Oliver and thanks for sharing.

Wow! These delicious  cakes  look sensational…good enough to eat! Fern (Year 5) has been busy baking and the way she has decorated them is terrific.  I just hope that Fern carries on baking and when school re-opens, brings me in a cake to have with my morning coffee.  Well done Fern and thanks for sharing your pictures…but sadly not your cakes!!

Look at this amazing 3D octopus made by William (Year 3).  I think he looks so cute and I love how each leg has a different pattern on it.  His brother George (Year 3) has also been busy creating this Under the Sea picture with an awesome octopus at the centre.  George was trying the technique of pointillism and he has done a great job.  well done boys and thanks for sharing!

Wow!  Look at this fantastic jellyfish and amazing seahorse sculptures made by Taylor (year 5) using  Orb molecules. They look amazing and very professional .  Great work Taylor!

There’s something ‘fishy’ going on in the Mainwaring household!  Look how busy they have been with more fantastic creations.  They have painted  these amazing  pufferfish using a fork, which is ingenious and a technique I’m definitely going to try.  Then they were feeling hungry after all their art and made these delicious and very colourful ‘fish’ cakes.  They look so yummy I wish I could put my hand through the screen and eat one with my coffee! Brilliant work, as usual boys, and thank you for sharing!

Oh my goodness!  Look at this marvellous array of sea creatures all created by Georgia (Year 4).  It is clear that she has spent a lot of time to make and paint these all and what a brilliant idea to use the lid of an egg carton and turn it into an aquarium.  Fantastic work Georgia and thanks for sharing!

Just take a look at this sensational shark that Calin (Year 4) has made…it is very realistic,,,and a little bit scary!! I love the way Calin has made the waves too. Great work Calin – well done!

Caleb (Year 4) always creates amazing artwork and this is no exception.  In his Under the Sea’ picture he has a variety of sea creatures, but the shark really stands out and is totally awesome. Well done Caleb and thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Wow! What a stunning pair of Jellyfish that Bella (Year 2) has created.  She has very carefully painted them and then added tissue paper, to give the effect that they are moving in the water.  Then Bella created this beautiful paper plate with a magnificent mermaid diving into the water.  The mermaid’s tail is shimmering as she swimming to the bottom of the ocean.  Brilliant work Bella and thank you for sharing!

I absolutely LOVE this multi-coloured seahorse created by Liberty (Year 5).  She has cleverly made a different pattern in each section of the seahorse and the overall result is very effective.  Great work Liberty!

This Under the Sea picture by Trinity (Year 2) is totally adorable!  I really love the variety of materials she has used to make it.  Well done Trinity and thanks for sharing!

My goodness, these brothers are very talented at drawing.  They took their inspiration from watch a drawing video on YouTube.  Oliver created an angler fish which  is multi-coloured and has lots of long sharp teeth! I think it is totally awesome. Meanwhile Tommy has drawn this spectacular coy carp.  Both have different drawing styles, but both are wonderful and extremely well drawn.  Bravo boys!

  Wow! Wow! Wow!  Teddy  has made this  magnificent mythical sea serpent. It has 6 legs and 4 eyes! Teddy used cardboard rolls, cello tape, spray paint and stick on eyes. He used pen to add details like the scales and added 3 rows of teeth. Teddy really liked this idea so on the worksheet in the background (on the first picture) he designed the planet the creature came from! Writing lots of details about the creatures habitat and what it eats.
Teddy and his mum really enjoyed working together on this and the end result is totally awesome!  Thanks for sharing this with us Teddy….and mum!

These sisters have been very busy creating again and I always look forward to receiving their art.  This amazing aquarium and been cleverly made by Emma (Year 4) What a fabulous idea to put thin plastic over the front to give the illusion of glass and the fish and plants inside are fab!  Great work, as always Emma!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Hattie has spent all her afternoon making her marvellous mermaid palace for the under the sea challenge and it looks magnificent! She has used lots of different things such as tissue paper, pipe cleaners, paper, paints and real shells from the beach.  The time and effort that Hattie put into this project is well worth it as the end result is amazing…a real work of art!  Thank you so much for sharing this with us Hattie!

My goodness! Here is a stunning’Under the Sea’ painting that Alonso (Year 1) has created.

It is a  fabulous puffer fish hiding one kelp with a selection of other sea animals all around.   Alonso was keen to use recycled materials ( the cardboard) as he wants to look after the planet, which is a wonderful and thoughtful idea.  Lots of famous artists, including Lowry, used  a range of recycled materials for their artwork. Great work Alonso and thanks for sharing!

This delightful, funky fish picture has been created by Diyona (Year 4) and it is fantastic.  I love the clever use of a variety of materials and the end result is simply stunning!  Impressive work Diyona…well done!

I really like this awesome octopus that Brayden (Year 3) has made.  He has painted it so well and added texture to it.  Well done Brayden!

Alexander (Year 1) has been very busy again.  Just look at this fantastic underwater picture he has created. Alexander combined paint, oil pastels and glitter together and this has created a very ‘watery’ scene and it looks like the jellyfish are really moving.  Thank you so much for sharing this!

Oh my goodness!  Look at this adorable  mermaid that Isabella (Year 1) created! I just think the mermaid’s tail is amazing and knowing how much you like swimming Isabella ,I can see the pair of you swimming together in the sea and resting in beautiful rockpools!  Brilliant work Isabella and thank you for sharing!

Wow! What fabulous Under the Sea crafts that have been created by Johan (Year 3).  He has evidently spent a lot of time and effort making these and it was well worth it because they are amazing.  The starfish and  octopus nave been made using stones and shells and the sensational shark looks very realistic.  Johan named the colourful fish ‘Rainbow’ and he looks fantastic and very cheery.  Very well done Johan and thank you for sharing!

Oh my goodness!  I think this drawing of a shark by Callum (Year 4) is truly fantastic.  It is clear that he has demonstrated a great deal of time and patience to draw this, especially the mouth with all those razor sharp teeth.  This is an amazing drawing Callum and you should be very proud of yourself!

I’m loving this ‘Under the Sea’ picture of Ariel that has been painted by Bella (Year 1).  I really like the way she has painted the whole background blue and left no gaps and I particularly like Ariel’s red hair, so that you instantly know that it is her.  Thank you for sharing this with us Bella!

What a brilliant seahorse that Amelia (Year 1) has created.  She has done a mosaic using lots of different colours, which makes him look fantastic.  Well done Amelia!

I am loving this colourful pair created by Caelan (Year 1) and his younger sister Phoenix. Their Mummy drew the outline for them both and Caelan created ‘Rainbow the Octopus’ (named because of his colourful arms and rainbow moustache) and Phoenix decorated ‘Sparkle the mermaid fin’. What a wonderful job they have done -fantastic work and thanks for sharing!

This aquarium is simply stunning! Olivia always produces amazing art work and this is no exception. As you can see, she has used an old gift box, painted bubble wrap as the sea bed, then cleverly used pipe cleaners as underwater plants and then drew fish from the Disney film Finding Nemo.   Olivia worked really hard on this and the result is fantastic …all in all it is a true work of art! Well done Olivia and thank you for sharing!

Alana (Year 4) has been a really busy girl again.  She wanted to get started straightaway with the ‘Under the Sea challenge’ but was undecided as to what sea creature to make.  So in true ‘Alana style’ she worked her socks off and created a vast array of sea creatures, using a variety of techniques! I love them all…the stunning seahorse, the  fabulous fish, the joyful jellyfish, the spectacular shark and the awesome octopus have all been made to a very high standard.  Bravo Alana and thank you for sharing.  I’m sure this will inspire others to have a go!

Wow!  When I got this email from Reception and Year One children it brought a tear to my eye!  What a lovely, thoughtful gesture and a reminder just how much St Peter’s is a family and how much we are missing each other.  However, seeing these happy children really brightens the spirit, so very well done children….and your parents.  Thank you so very much for sharing!

Wow!  Look at this adorable lamb created by Hattie (Year 2).  Her woolly coat is very fluffy and will keep her warm during the cooler spring evenings and she has a very cute face.  Thank you for sharing this with us Hattie!

Goodness me!  I am totally blown away by this self portrait  by Nell (Year 5).  She has captured herself as a baby perfectly.  Her mum drew the outline, but the rest of the painting is all Nell’s work and I think it is sensational.  I especially like the detail she has added in the folds of the blanket an how mesmerising  her eyes are.  This is a true MASTERPIECE Nell – thank you for sharing!

For their New Life challenge Josh (Year 6) and Emelia (Year 4) decided to do an observational drawing of this plant.  Their mum decided to join in and painted this fantastic picture on the left.  It has been very carefully drawn, with lots of great detail and looks suberb. Emelia painted this brilliant picture on the right and it is clear that she looked really closely while painting it because it is a awesome and reminds me of Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’.

Josh went slightly ‘off-piste’ and did an observational drawing of this model car.  However, he is totally forgiven because he has done a sensational job and it looks fantastic.  I can see that he has also looked very carefully at every detail because the finished painting is spot on! Stunning work Josh – very well done!  It is clear that this talented trio really enjoyed painting together.  Thanks for sharing!

Wow! It looks like Kester (Year R) has had an amazing time celebrating ‘New Life’.  What adorable looking cherries, with their cheeky faces and this amazing origami bird  is just brilliant.  Finally this fish is super cute with a wonderful smile.  Great work Kester and thanks for sharing!

Wow!  This stunning self portrait of Kian (Year 6) is a real joy to look at.  He has used the grid method to ensure he has the picture in proportion.  This is not an easy technique, but it is evident that Kian has taken his time and used a great deal of patience and I’m so glad he has because the end result is a true ‘work of art’!  Congratulations Kian on an amazing drawing and thank you for sharing.  I’m sure you will inspire others to try this technique!

This super cute chick sculpture has been created by Dillon (Year One).  He took his inspiration from Andy Goldsworthy and used stones from the natural environment. This is simple stunning Dillon – thanks for sharing!

Another Andy Goldsworthy inspired sculpture is this wonderful lamb created by Conor (Year 4).  It is clear that he has really taken his time to place every stone in the right place and I’m glad he has because it looks simply awesome.  Well done Conor!

Wow!  I love these glorious garden fairies made by Florence (Year 1) and her mummy. Florence  has been learning about plants and flowers and decided to make some fairy clothes and a card for her best friend. What a truly delightful idea and I absolutely adore their clothes.  Thank you so much for sharing this with us Florence…..and mummy!

Olivia (Year 4) has been looking for new life in her garden and taken photographs of a new sunflower which she is looking forward to watch  grow over the coming weeks. She also took  a photo of the wisteria that is just starting to flower, which looks beautiful.  Fab photos Olivia – thanks for sharing!

Oh my goodness I think Jasmine (Year 3) could open her own flower shop with these stunning creations! Just look at the time and patience she has taken to make them look so realistic and each one is unique…just like us.  Well done Jasmine your flowers are ‘BLOOMing marvellous!

For the New Life challenge, Kieran (Year 6) has created his own species, on the computer, which looks very cute. He has named his animal Skydra and he has ears like a bat.  Well done Kieran!

What an amazing pair of baby elephants, called calves, that Denzel (Year 1) has created.  He has used cardboard tubes and carefully painted them and the googly eyes make them look adorable.  Well done Denzel!

You may have seen, in an earlier post, that Christina (Year R) had planted seeds with her daddy, well in just a few days look how the are starting to grow.

The whole family are clearly keen gardeners and very good at it!  Their whole garden is a colourful celebration of New Life!   Thank you for sharing this with us – you may inspire others (like me) to do more gardening.

I wish I had a T-Shirt like this!  Caleb (Year 4) has made this as a celebration of New Life and as you can see there are lots of symbols of New Life as well as a nod the the wonderful work of the NHS.  Brilliant work Caleb and thanks for sharing!

Wow!  Look at this stunning oil painting by Jonah (Year 3).  It is evident that he has really taken his time and carefully painted his tortoise, called Bean, hatching out of his shell.  A wonderful painting of New Life, Jonah – well done!

This cheeky chap is growing his ‘grass hair’ courtesy of Cian (Year 4).  While most of us need a haircut, this chap is just starting to grow his.  Hopefully, Cian will send an update and we can see what his hair looks like in a week or two!

How wonderful to see Alonso (Year 1) posing in the sunshine alongside his Andy Goldsworthy inspired sculpture.  What creativity to be able to take a few simple objects of nature and turn them into a work of art.  Bravo Alonso!

This amazing  picture has been created by Ishana (Year 4) and it is a true celebration of New Life.  I love the way that she has incorporated fantastic drawings alongside real flower.  The overall effect is brilliant.  Well done Ishana!

Wow!  What a busy bee… or should I say butterfly Maisie (Year 1) has been!  She did a wax crayon print from the bark of the  tree in her garden and then collected a few different shaped leaves which she also used to do a wax crayon print and  then she put them all together to make a tree.  What a great technique and I think it looks tremendous!

Maisie then went on to create this amazing caterpillar and brilliant butterfly using handprints – what a beautiful way to show New Life and the life cycle of the caterpillar to a butterfly…. but Maisie wasn’t finishes there….

…..all this artwork had given Maisie an appetite (a bit like the hungry caterpillar!) and she decided to have a New Life lunch by making her fruit and pancakes in to butterfly and caterpillar.   I’m sure there is not much of that piece of art left, but I’m sure Maisie’s tummy is full now!

Wow!  This is amazing!  The Burridge boys have been inspired by Andy Goldsworthy and created these spectacular sculptures.  During their daily walk, the boys stopped briefly and George (Year 3) made this Macca Pacca-esque using stones and I have to say it is remarkably like the real thing.  Meanwhile,  Henry (Year 5) and William (Year 3) created this stunning pine cone and dandelion spiral. They left them in situ in the hope they would make the next person to come across them, smile! Their mum also said that it was wonderful to be out in nature and the first time in a long time that they all really took time to experience everything with all their senses.  She also said that you can’t take a picture of most of our experiences but new life was evident all around us, from the numerous bird calls, the smell of the trees and plants, the sunlight dancing on the woodland floor and the suns warmth on our skin!  Well said Mrs Burridge and thanks again boys for sharing your sculptures.  Just as Andy Goldsworthy inspired you, you may inspire others – well done!

This piglet, made by Florence (Year R) is so adorable!  As you can see, he has been made from a milk carton and I just love his fluffy ears.  Thank you for sharing this with us Florence!

My goodness!  I absolutely love this fantastic New Life paper plate craft made by Humphrey (Year 1).  How clever he has been to make the bird’s nest using twigs and real leaves – is truly is a work of art.  Great work Humphrey and thank you for sharing!

What a beautiful celebration of New Life from Alfie (Year 5).  He has shown how New Life has ‘sprung’ into life in his garden with these lovely photographs….

Wow!  I love this Andy Goldsworthy inspired art work by Fern (Year 5) to celebrate New Life.  This eternal circle of life is a great message for us all.  Thank you for sharing Fern!

Wow!  I’m loving this amazing Llama created by Faith (Year 6) and made completely out of paper.  It is absolutely brilliant and very life like…and it’s standing!  Very impressive origami skills Faith and thank you for sharing!

This tremendous tree has been crafted by Faith’s brother Luke (Year 2).  Not only has he sculpted it beautifully but he has painted it very carefully too. What a talented family you are!

This is an amazing celebration of New Life!  Max (Year 1) and Kiean (Year R) have been busy creating fantastic art work based on the lifestyle of a butterfly.  As you can see, they have made brilliant caterpillars inspired by Eric Carle’s book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and then they have made marvellous butterflies.  It is clear they took their time and were really careful, but it was worth it because the end result is awesome!  Well done boys and thank you for sharing!

Islwyn (Year 6) wanted to draw baby animals for new life, so after looking at pictures on the internet he drew a cartoon style baby polar bear, which I think looks fabulous…. and very cute! Thank you for sharing this Islwyn!

 Mostyn also wanted to focus on baby animals, so after his research he  drew a Koala Bear on it’s Mother’s back. This looks fantastic and you have the proportions just right.  Well done Mostyn!

Wow!  Christina has been celebrating NEW LIFE by drawing this super cute puppy and then Christina helped her daddy and they planted some vegetables in their garden.  I hope they will send more photos as they start to grow!

Oh my goodness…this is breath taking!  Hanna(Year 5) and her mum have created this magnificent cross full of beautiful flowers that are made out of air drying clay. They used green cardboard and Hanna’s mum was the one that cut out the cross shape. They  chose the flower as a symbol of resurrection just like Jesus resurrected and the earth wakes up in spring after winter.  This is truly a MASTERPIECE and it is clear that a huge amount of time and effort was put into it, but it was worth it as the result is truly stunning.  Thank you so much for sharing this Hanna…and mum!

I’m loving these pictures by Phoebe (Year 1), she drew herself as a baby and did her snuggle bunny and also did a lamb and his mother.  These are super cute and really well drawn! Well done Phoebe!

Wow!  It is clear that Carl (Year 6) and Jasmin (Year 2) have enjoyed celebrating Easter and New Life!  Here you can see they have done a range of activities, from painting eggs, to doing an Easter Egg hunt, making baskets and attending t the new plants springing into life in their garden.  Well done Carl and Jasmin and thank you for sharing this with us!

Caelan (Year 1) has been such a busy boy and has made a wide variety of arts and crafts over the last few weeks.  For his Easter, his grandparents gave him this fantastic flower press, so he chose a flower from his gardren and placed it in the press.  He had to wait for a week and then the flower was perfectly pressed.  Caelan then used the flower to make a thank you card for his grandparents – what a very thoughtful gesture.  Thank you for sharing this with us Caelan – I hope you will inspire others to try this!  If you don’t have a flower press you could use a heavy book.

Wow!  Look at this magnificent plant that Junior (Year 2) is growing.  I particularly like the way he has decorated the plant pot. Well done Junior!

I’m loving this…it’s very groovy! Max (Year 1) and Kiean (Year R)  are enjoying  family time together, such as movie night and sports day.  They had some fun with glow sticks after movie night and have sent this fantastic picture of the pair of them. Look at this brilliant drawing by Henry (Year 2).  It is  a character from a game ‘Hello Neighbour’ but I had to ask my son about it as I hadn’t heard of this game!  After some research, I can say that this is an amazingly accurate picture.  Great drawing skills Henry – thanks for sharing!

Here the a fantastic rainbow that Islwyn (Year 6) and Mostyn (Year 3)  have created for the ‘Over the Rainbow’ competition.  What a brilliant idea to combine hearts and the rainbow.  Well done boys!

Oh my goodness!  Look at this fabulous Gurdwara created by Jasmine (Year 3) and her older sister Anna.  They started off with rectangular boxes, toilet rolls and some egg boxes. Then a delivery turned up, which had some unusual packing inside, that seemed just perfect for the shapes that they wanted. They enjoyed painting and spraying the outside and it soon turned into messy play.  It sounds like they had great fun and collaborated well…and the result is magnificent!  Well done girls and thank you so much for sharing!

This ‘Christ the Redeemer’ has been carefully drawn and then cut out by Harry (Year 6).  I can see he has really put his drawing skills to good use!  Well done Harry… I hope you send me more of your artwork soon!

These impressive Australian inspire crafts have been created bu Emma (Year 4).  As you can see she has made a replica of the Australian Flag and then created this super, super cute Kangaroo.  I absolutely love the way she has made the pouch at the front to hold the Joey.  Well done Emma and thanks for sharing!

These amazing Australian inspired pieces of art have been created by Diyonna (Year 4) and they both look incredible. I love the kangaroo , which is in perfect proportion and also the Aboriginal technique of using dots and dashes to tell a story. Thank you for sharing these Diyonna.

Wow!  Look at this magnificent rocket that Hattie (Year 3) has created.  Not only does it look amazing, but she has done an experiment to set it off  ‘into space’! The chemicals she used were white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, this gave a good chemical reaction, but she was carefully supervised by adults while doing this.  The reaction is totally awesome. Well done Hattie and thank you for sharing!

The Bennett brothers have been busy again!  This time Mason (Year 1), Calum (Year R) and their younger brother Harry have been creating finger print people, which are amazing.  I love them all, but I think the chef is my favourite.  Which is your favourite? Thank you for sharing these!

Firstly, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the children who have sent me their fabulous artwork over the last few weeks.  It really brightens my day when I hear a ping from my computer to let me know I have an email… and I’m even more excited when I open it and discover your creations.  If you haven’t done so already, please take a few moments to explore this art blog and see what your friends have been doing…you never know it may inspire you!

The title for your art this week is ‘NEW LIFE’.  You can be as creative as you like.  It could be a drawing of yourself as a baby,  a baby animal made out of kitchen roll tubes, a photograph of a tree with buds, an Andy Goldsworthy inspired piece of art made out of natural things in your garden or when you have been on a walk.  Impress me with your creativity!

This stunning Good Friday picture has been created by Halle (Year 2).  I am so impressed that she has used the technique of pointillism, made famous by the artist Seurat and a technique that we have practised in Year 2.  Halle must have taken her time had a lot of patience to do this, but the fantastic result has made it all worthwhile. This fantastic RE artwork is a joint enterprise between Josh (Year 6) and his sister Emelia (Year 4).  As you can see, they have created a Lego Temple and researched Hinduism.  Well done Josh and Emelia!

Wow! Wow! Wow!  Look at this magnificent Easter Egg Garden created by Evie (Year R) and her adorable little sister, Pearl.  It looks like they had loads of fun making it and all the art they have done is amazing.  Evie was pleased with the end result and I can see why.  Well done girls and thank you for sharing!

Wow!  I just had to share this stunning piece of street art by Taylor (Year 5).  It is a very thought-provoking piece of art, that gave me goosebumps when I first looked at it.  It has clearly taken Taylor a lot of time, but it was worth every second… it is truly magnificent.  Thank you so much for sharing this Taylor – I’m sure you will inspire others to try some Street Art!

Just to show that Taylor can turn his hand to different art media he has created this impressive Indian Paper Plate. He has placed the Indian Flag in the centre of the plate and then decorated it with a variety of different patterns. Well done Taylor!

Look at these stunning African crafts have been created by Kecy (Year 2) and they look simply stunning.  It is clear that Kecy has worked hard, but it was worth it because the end results are magnificent.  Well done Kecy!

Oh my goodness!  Look at these two stunning crafts by Rafe (Year 1).  The first is an amazing Rainbow heart that has been drawn on his driveway and pays tribute to the NHS and Key workers.  The second is a super cute dog, made from toilet rolls.  I wonder if he has a name? Thanks for sharing Rafe!

Wow! These truly amazing chalk drawing have been cleverly created by Mason (Year 1), Calum (Year R) and their younger brother Harry and they are truly stunning.  Each one is so impressive that I am definitely going to ‘magpie’ this idea to use in school.  Thank you so much for sharing this boys…you have made my day!

These Roman inspired creations have been made by Phoebe (Year 3) She has  made some Roman armour, using tin foil and created this impressive Fishbourne Roman palace from Lego.  Both look fantastic – well done Phoebe!

Phoebe then went on to use recycled materials to make ‘HENRY’ the paper plate monster. He looks great, I especially love his eyes, but what an enormous mouth….I wonder what he eats?

I love these crafts by Phoebe (Year 3).  As you can see she has made a monster with big bulging eyes and eyelashes. She has also created this tree house and 2 bedrooms flat with a dining table and chairs in the corner, a kitchen and beds.  I think we may have a budding interior designer here!  Thanks for sharing Phoebe!

Wow!  Look at these amazing crafts created by Jasmine (Year 3).  As you can see she has kept herself busy making this person with a paper plate – I love the eyelashes, a brilliant bumble bee and a fantastic elephant with a collage of animal prints.  Great work Jasmine and thanks for sharing!

Goodness me!  This pair of brothers have been busy!  They have worked together as a team to make and then paint this fabulous castle!  It is truly a work of art.  I know it took them a long time, but it was well worth it as they have produced something that not only looks amazing, but they can play with too.  In fact, I know that they have been playing with their toy soldiers in it – how brilliant is that!  Thanks for sharing this with us boys!

Wow! I love this Chinese Dragon plate that was created by Sophia (Year 3).  She drew a Chinese Dragon on a paper plate, then  coloured it in different colours. Then she painted the outside bright red. Sophia said it was really fun and a bit complicated, but I’m so glad she persevered because the result is stunning! Thank you for sharing this with us!

Maisie(Year 1) has made this wonderful  walrus out of silver paper plates she had left over from her party. It looks fantastic – well done Maisie!

Wow! These fantastic polar bears have been created by Max (Year 1) and Kiean (Year R).  These two brothers have carefully stuck cotton wool balls on their paper plates to make these cute polar bears.  Thank you for sharing these boys!

Look at Max busy creating this fabulous castle inspired by the art work of Paul Klee.  It is clear that Max has taken his time and worked very patiently and it was worth the effort because the end result is simply stunning.  Well done Max!

Goodness me look how busy Caelan (Year 1)  and his younger sister Phoenix have been, building and painting these brilliant bird boxes.  Their daddy has varnished them and put them up on their little house in the garden. They are hoping some little birds will nest in them.  I hope they will let us know if they getting any little visitors. Well done Caelan and Phoenix…oh not forgetting their daddy too!

I am loving this stained glass window cross that has been so carefully coloured by Eva (Year 5).  Well done Eva!

Wow!  I just had to share this stunning piece of street art by Taylor (Year 5).  It is a very thought-provoking piece of art, that gave me goosebumps when I first looked at it.  It has clearly taken Taylor a lot of time, but it was worth every second… it is truly magnificent.  Thank you so much for sharing this Taylor – I’m sure you will inspire others to try some Street Art!

Wow!  These two amazing crafts, both made by Rafe (Year 1), show off how talented he is.  The first is his Stained glass window cross and the second is his magnificent Easter Bonnet, which is a celebration of Easter and spring.  Fabulous creations Rafe – thanks for sharing!

This adorable Easter bunny has been created by Caelan (Year 1). He has used a pom-pom and then carefully glued all the features on.  This is super cute and I love it!  Well done Caelan…and mummy!

Wow!  This amazing Easter bunting has been created by Esther (Year 6).  The multi-coloured Easter eggs and magnificent patterns really brighten up the window!  Thank you for sharing these Esther.

Here is an impressive  Easter  Garden, created by Alfie (Year 5).   He has planted cactus seeds – hopefully they won’t take too long to grow!

Oh my goodness!  The Bennett brothers have been busy again with these ‘Eggstraordinary’ Easter crafts.  I’m loving the super cute Easter bunny and I really like the stained glass widow egg and cross.  The yellow chick is also amazing and I particularly love his tissue paper hair.  Mason (Year 1), Calum (Year R) and their younger brother Harry always work hard on their crafts and their results are simply AWESOME!  Thank you boys!

These ‘Eggscellent’ Easter Bonnets have been created by Caelan (Year 1)  and his talented younger sister, Phoenix.  They carefully placed everything where they wanted it to go and then their mummy used the glue gun to secure them in place.  I hope they wear them on Easter Sunday!  Well done and thank you for sharing!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Mostyn (Year 3) has drawn the Last Supper focusing on perspective like Leonardo De Vinci. He followed an online video on youtube and was very pleased with the result and I can see why it is absolutely fantastic! I love this Mostyn – thank you for sharing!

This is simply stunning! Islwyn (Year 6) based his Easter work on the artist Andy Warhol because he liked his bold and colourful style. He has done an amazing job and should be rightly proud of the end result.  Well done Islwyn!

This stained glass window has been coloured by Kiean’s brother Max (Year 1).  I absolutely love his choice of colours, as it looks very bright and colourful.  Great work Max!

This stunning stained glass window has been carefully created by Max (Year 1).  I am so impressed that he kept going with it, even though it was harder than he thought it would be.  In the end, Max is pleased with the end result and so am I… it is a fitting tribute for Good Friday.  Thank you for sharing this Max!

Alexander (Year 1) has been working hard today making these ‘Eggscellent’ Easter Cards .  He used potato stamps, paint and ink stamps – and said it was a lot of fun. Well done Alexander and thank you for sharing!

This gorgeous Easter garden has been created by these three sisters, Faith (Year 5) Sophia (Year 3) and Grace (Year 1).  These girls worked together to make this Garden, which is full of lots of symbols that represent Easter.  How many can you count?  Thank you for sharing this fabulous garden!

This stunning picture of the ‘Last Supper’ has been drawn by Phoebe (Year 3). She took her inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci and as she can see she has done an amazing job and included so much detail!  Well done Phoebe!

Wow!  This amazing Easter Garden has be beautifully created by Florence (Year 1). She has been learning about Easter and the story of Jesus and the the tomb. As you can see, she has really thought of every detail with the cross, the sign ‘He has RISEN!’ and a tomb stone, decorated colourfully as an Easter egg.  Well done Florence!

Isabella has made this fabulous  collage Easter cross, using the a variety of different materials.  It looks very effective – thank you Isabella!

Maisie (Year 1) has been busy again today making a stained glass window in the design of a cross. She cut the cross out of black card and stuck tissue paper onto some cellophane, it really looks pretty when it shines in the light. Thank you for sharing this with us Maisie!

Wow!  This multi-coloured cross has been made by Lucas (Year R).  As you can see he has carefully scrunched up pieces of tissue paper and then glued them onto a cross.  The result is totally amazing.  Well done Lucas!

Wow!  This fantastic painting of Palm Sunday is the fabulous art work of Alana (Year 4).  As you can see, Alana has taken inspiration from the artist Vincent Van Gogh.  I absolutely love this Alana – thanks for sharing!

Dominika (Year4 ) and Maksym (Year 2) have worked very hard to created these crosses and Easter baskets.  I can see that they have put a great deal of time and effort into making them look so good.  Thank you for sharing!

Islwyn (Year 6) and Mostyn (Year 3) have been busy making these ‘Eggscellent’ Easter cards.  They are so bright and colourful and I’m sure they would brighten up the day of anyone who receives them.  Thank you for sharing them with us!

These crosses have been made by Max  (Year 1) and his brother Kiean (Year r) and they look amazing! The crosses were made using pva glue and food colouring to make patterns, which is a great technique and one that I am going to try.  Thank you Max and Kiean for sharing these with us!

Wow!  These colourful Easter Eggs created by Alexander (Year 1) are simply stunning!  He has made them by using various pieces of coloured thread – this is definitely an idea I am going to ‘magpie’!  Thanks you for sharing this Alexander!

This Easter Bunny and cross are the creations of Caelan (year 1).  I love the cute bunny who looks like he is out enjoying the sunny weather, but keeping a safe distance from everyone else!  The cross is also very impressive and is made with palm leaves from Caelan’s garden and multi-coloured hearts and leaves.  Well done Caelan!

This trio of Easter Gardens have been beautifully created by Alana (Year 4) Amelia (Year 1) and their gorgeous little sister, Ayia.  It is wonderful to see all the natural materials they have collected to make them and the flowers brighten them up.  Thank you girls, it’s always a delight to see your creations.

Look at this fantastic cross  and bird box that Bailey (Year R) has created, with help from his dad. It is a delight to see them working together and for Bailey to be learning new skills.  I really like the choice of colours they have chosen too.  However, that mud kitchen looks fab as well, I could have loads of fun with that! This beautiful Easter Garden has been created by Maisie (Year 1).  It is lovely to see her create this and take the time to make it look so stunning.  I can see she has made the crosses by tying them with string, a skill she learnt in Year R.  Well done Maisie!

Wow!  Just look how busy these sisters have been!  They have done lots of Holy Week and Easter crafts and each one is fantastic.  This one shows  how they decorated their  door with olive branches and a cross and  hung it  out yesterday for Palm Sunday. Truly beautiful.

Emma (Year 4) and Eva (Year 5) then turned their art skills to making these crosses representing  Good Friday and then Easter Sunday. They have been very thoughtful with the way they have decorated them.

Christina (Year R) then made this  super cute Easter Bunny and Easter chick, using the collage technique.  I love them!  Thank you for sharing your ideas girls, I’m sure you have inspired many others!

Look at these two stunning crosses drawn by the Cook brothers,  Oliver (Year 5) and (Tommy Year 4).  Oliver did this coloured one and I really like the way he has coloured the wood to make it look like bark.  I also like the way he has drawn and then coloured the leaves behind the cross. It is clear he has really taken his time and the result is remarkable.  Very beautiful!

Tommy then used his impressive sketching skills to draw this cross, with lots of intricate detail.  Then to drawn and colour the rose lifts it to another level and is very thought provoking.  Thank you for sharing these Oliver and Tommy!

These two sisters, Alana (Year 4) and Amelia (Year 1) always do lovely art work and this is no exception.  Look how carefully they made these stained class window crosses, with beautiful colours, then Alana went on to make a huge mosaic cross.  Well done girls, your art always cheers me up!
