Children are preparing to write a sensory description on an image from \u2018The Day War Came\u2019 by Nicola Davies. In maths, they have been continuing to apply their understanding of addition and subtraction through routine and non-routine problems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The spellings this week are \u2018ible\u2019 and \u2018able\u2019 words. Children have explored the rule where most words ending \u2018able\u2019 have a root sounding word before it. Spelling books will be expected in on Monday 15<sup>th<\/sup> October, ready for a test.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday Year 5E will be heading off on their three day residential, 5PC leave on Wednesday. Don\u2019t forget to arrive in your Sustainability clothing ready for the normal school time. Please remember to add in a small packet of biscuits or cakes for the trip.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>**Please remember all medicines are to be handed to Mrs Edge on Monday and Mr Crozier on Wednesday. <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week Ben Lymer (5E) received the golden key award for being a super ambassador of St Peter\u2019s, during open afternoon. Sihanua Sumba (5E) has her writing displayed on the showstoppers wall. Isla Challis (5PC) received the golden key award for her always putting 100% effort into everything she does.
