This week has been dominated by the residential visit to Runway\u2019s End. The children had an amazing time, working collaboratively, setting themselves challenging goals and encouraging one another to achieve them.<\/p>\n

At school the children have been developing their skills in\u00a0using a formula to measure\u00a0area and solving problems involving all 4 operations. In English, they have continued to study \u2018Carrie\u2019s War\u2019. They have written an informal letter in character.<\/p>\n

No homework has been set this week due to the residential at Runway’s End. However, children should still be revising their multiplication knowledge, reading and completing another section of their homework pyramid. The children have also been introduced to \u2018Sumdog\u2019 (www.sumdog.com<\/a>) which they enjoyed.
