The have also been converting fractions, decimals and percentages, solving word problems using all three. In English, they have been finding the features of a persuasive text and working on improving the range of clauses they can create.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For homework the children have 6 spellings using ending in \u2018ary\u2019, \u2018ory\u2019 and \u2018ery\u2019; Mymaths and they need to complete a section from the homework pyramid. This homework is due by next Friday (16<sup>th<\/sup> June). Children are more than welcome to bring their homework in early if they have completed it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This week Lee Huxley (5E) received the golden leaf award for \u2018using the gifts God gave him for always trying his best in everything he does and being a helpful member of the class\u2019 and Eva Townsin (5E) has her writing displayed on the showstoppers wall. Cerys Colley (5F) received the golden leaf award for \u2018using the gifts God gave her to always be a cheerful member of the class.
