We also consolidated our learning on causal conjunctions. We have had requests from parents for suggested grammar websites for Year 4. This week we investigated different perimeter lengths. The children enjoyed the challenge of finding different perimeter lengths, for a set of \u2018paving stones\u2019. \u00a0We are continuing to focus on developing the children\u2019s times table skills and related division facts as these will help the children in our upcoming fractions unit.<\/p>\n<p>In RE, we continue with our Advent unit looking at prophesies for the birth of Christ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Celebrations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Golden Key<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4s: Jacob Chapman: \u2018For contributing more in groups and class to help his learning.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>4B: Tilly Horton: \u2018For being a resilient and enthusiastic learner.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Showstopper Writer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4S: Benji Ford: \u2018For thinking critically in RE.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>4B: Eva Hirmiz: \u2018For her critical thinking and reflection during RE.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reminders\/Dates:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is a Carol service at Sacred Heart on Wednesday 12<sup>th<\/sup> December 6 -7 pm. It would be lovely to see as many of you there as possible.<\/p>\n<p>We have had many queries about greater depth questions on Sumdog.
