For example, we have been investigating how we could write 1\/4 and 1\/2 as a decimal as well as all the other ways we could write it as a fraction (i.e. 0.25 OR 2\/8). We have used lots of visual models and images to ensure that we understand the value of tenths compared to the hundredths.<\/p>\n<p>In Literacy, we have looked at our new text driver &#8211; Jemmy Button. We have looked at using prepositions and thinking about our sentence structure.<\/p>\n<p>For spellings we have been looking at words ending in &#8216;tion&#8217; as well as setting ourselves some of our own personal spellings to learn.<\/p>\n<p>Our Context lead topic for the half term is &#8216;Good to be me!&#8217; Can you find lots of reasons why it is good to be you?!<\/p>\n<p>The children have had a great week settling back into the school routine for which we are very proud!
