This week we have been celebrating heroes. In literacy we have been learning about the various features of biographies and have written some\u00a0about King Alfred. Maths has\u00a0 been focused on collecting, showing and interpreting information. Children are now able to collect information using tally charts and are able to record this\u00a0 in bar charts and line graphs.<\/p>\n
We have also had the opportunity to listen to and ask questions of real life heroes. On Monday Mr Hunt\u00a0 came to our school and spoke to us about the fantastic charity work that he does for service men and women who have been injured. Thursday afternoon began with a visit from Mr\u00a0Ozouf. Mr\u00a0Ozouf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 worked as a computer\u00a0engineer\u00a0 and spoke of his many exciting and brave experiences on Royal Navy vessels.<\/p>\n
