Don\u2019t forget to check the blog to see the rhyme!<\/p>\n<p><b>Numeracy:<\/b> I could practice solving division problems like 21\u00f77=\u00a0 \u00a0(How many groups of 7 are there in 21?)<\/p>\n<p><b>RE:<\/b> I could think about the message of forgiveness and find some parables which teach me about this.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Phonics<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Miss Smillie\u2019s Phonics Group<\/strong> \u2013 Collect different suffixes (word endings) when looking at present and past tense verbs e.g. cry &#8211; cr<b>i<\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">ed<\/span>, humming &#8211; humm<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">ed<\/span>, running &#8211; r<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">an<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Miss Hele and Mrs Wickes\u2019 Phonics Group<\/strong>&#8211; Investigate words with different spellings of the \/<strong>ar<\/strong>\/ sound e.g. c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">al<\/span>m, h<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">ear<\/span>t, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">are<\/span>, biz<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">arre<\/span>, c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">ar<\/span>, d<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">a<\/span>ncing. Practice spelling the tricky words: saw, through, some, was.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miss Stinton\u2019s Phonics Group<\/strong>&#8211; Find words where the letter \u2018c\u2019 is pronounced differently like \u2018<strong>c<\/strong>ylinder\u2019 or \u2018<strong>c<\/strong>row\u2019.
