To help you with ideas for home learning and let you know what we have been learning, or are going to learn, here are our learning journeys in maths, literacy and RE for this week and next.<\/strong><\/p>\n

THIS WEEK (Week beginning 22\/9\/14)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

MATHS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In maths\u00a0we have been learning about how to add numbers to make 10, 20 and 30<\/strong><\/p>\n

e.g. 2 + 3 + 5 = 10\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 14 + 1 + 10 + 5 = 30<\/strong><\/p>\n

LITERACY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In literacy we have been learning how to ask and write questions using the question words:<\/strong><\/p>\n

‘What, When, Where, Why, How’ and making sure we use question marks (?).<\/strong><\/p>\n

RE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have been looking at the story of Noah’s Ark.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NEXT WEEK (Week beginning 29\/9\/14)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

MATHS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In maths we will be looking at how many groups of\/lots of 2,3,4, 5 and 10 go into 10,20 and 30<\/strong><\/p>\n

e.g. 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 so 5 lots of 2 make 10 (5 x 2 = 10)<\/strong><\/p>\n

we will also be looking at counting accurately in 2,3,4 and 5 from 0.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LITERACY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In literacy we will be looking at features of non-fiction texts linked to the Titanic and start to create our own non-fiction information texts on the Titanic.<\/strong><\/p>\n

RE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We will be looking at multicultural links in RE and focusing on the Jewish festival of Sukkot.<\/strong><\/p>\n
