Hello everyone,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that you are all well and continuing to enjoy the many signs of hope we see each day within our school community at St. Peter\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pilgrims of Hope \u2013 Living Our Faith Together<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This term, our children have continued to journey together as Pilgrims of Hope<\/em> during this Jubilee Year. Through prayer, worship and action, pupils across the school have reflected on the importance of love, dignity and care for one another, recognising that every person is precious in God\u2019s eyes. Guided by our Mission Statement and inspired by Pope Francis\u2019 vision, we have worked together to use our gifts and Charisms to make a positive difference within our school, parish and wider world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiritual Leadership at St. Peter\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are extremely proud of the many pupils who have taken on roles as Spiritual Leaders this year. Through leading prayer, supporting liturgies, promoting Catholic Social Teaching and encouraging acts of service, our children have shown great maturity and compassion. Their commitment has helped to strengthen our shared understanding of community, reminding us that faith is lived out through kindness, responsibility and care for others. Well done to our CST Ambassadors, pupil chaplains (GIFT team) and prayer leaders, for representing our Catholic Life and Mission exceptionally and for taking an active role in the spirituality and prayer life of our school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stewardship and Care for Others<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of our Stewardship focus, pupils throughout St. Peter\u2019s have explored what it means to care for those around us, particularly families and the most vulnerable in our society. Through our year group Stewardship projects and cross-curricular links, the children have been encouraged to recognise the importance of supporting parents, families and communities so that every child can grow up feeling safe, loved and valued. These experiences have helped our pupils to understand how living out the Gospel can bring hope to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Liturgical Life<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer and worship remain at the heart of school life at St. Peter\u2019s. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all staff, children, parents, carers and volunteers<\/strong> who have supported the preparation of the following liturgies, Masses and Celebrations of the Word<\/strong> this term. I would like to close this blog post by inviting you to join me in prayer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pray for all parents: that through God\u2019s grace and our support they may be able to give their children a safe, warm and loving home to grow up in.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, in your mercy\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pray for our parish, family and friends: that remembering that God loves everyone around the world, even the tiniest baby, we may share that love with others and help to care for them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, in your mercy\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this Jubilee Year, we pray that we may be signs of hope in our world through all that we do and how we treat one another.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, in your mercy\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ our Messiah, You call us to follow You. Help us to live with love, compassion and hope, as we serve others in Your name.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
