back together again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time in over 2 years we have been able to hold whole school worships in the hall again.\u00a0\u00a0I have to admit that standing before over 430 children to lead worship for the first time in 26 months was really quite daunting until the point at which the pupils began to sing.\u00a0\u00a0Then voices, hearts and spirits were lifted, and my nerves evaporated.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1157\" fortune, the theme of the worship came from John\u2019s Gospel (13:24) of Christ\u2019s new commandment \u2018Love one another as I have loved you\u2019, with an emphasis on the solidarity that those words of scripture bring.\u00a0\u00a0Despite the many and various ways that we have been dispersed over the past 2 years, we have never lost sight in our school community of the Christian and familial love that binds us together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1156\" conclusion of our worship, we were able to announce following recent hustings and voting the names of our elected House Captains (Year 6), House Vice Captains (Year 5) and House Leaders (Years R to 4) as shown in the picture above.\u00a0 These children will take on responsibilities in our 4 school houses of St Oscar Romero (yellow), St Mother Teresa (green), St John Paul II (blue) and St Mary Elizabeth (red).\u00a0 Thanks go to Mrs Edge who has devised and launched our new house system for St Peter&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Mr R Cunningham<br
